We were in Nashville promoting our last album and Lisa came to our show. She is an old friend of Jim’s, he produced one of her albums at his studio MusicHill. She was a physicist at Stanford University at the time, calculating solar bursts – and writing songs on the side. Since then, she quit her science career and moved to Nashville to write and she has over 10,000 songs, many covered by well-known singers like Rita Coolidge. Anyway, we went to her house for dinner one night and she put a pot of water on to boil for pasta and said Okay! Let’s write a song before dinner. Lisa had the idea of the tag line I Love the Way You Do…You. So we sat and brainstormed and played around with ideas and came up with this little love song – before the water boiled! - Nell Robinson & Jim Nunally
